You believe in our work. You support our cause. You know how important hospice & palliative care is in our communities and especially in the broader health systems.
In so many ways, you are already a “champion” for hospice and this week as we build up to World Hospice and Palliative Care Day happening on Saturday the 8th of October – we would like you our readers to make your hospice champions official and tell us why they are such a brilliant champion for your cause.
Let’s highlight our hospice champions this week and let it be an on-going project to help us further out our reach of awareness and spread the word about our mission.
Hospice champions help in a variety of ways:
Engage community organisations on further educating them around hospice care.
- Spreading the word about the great work of everyone involved in hospice from the home-based carers, volunteers, nurses – the list is endless.
- Helping get the word out about hospice services and programs through the corporate and faith communities.
Above is just a glimpse into what our champions do for us and this week we would like to highlight your hospice champions so that they can be featured on our ehospice and HPCA website as well as our Social Media platforms.
