As we celebrate #HospiceWeek2018 between 6 – 13 May we share with you the above success story which features Christine Dollan who sheds some light on her first hand experience at St Luke’s Hospice.
HPCA (Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa) will be promoting awareness of hospice and palliative care during the week of 6 -13 May which is Hospice week in South Africa.
As the national charity for hospice care, HPCA (Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa) champion and support the work of more than 107-member organisations, which provide hospice care to around 120 000 people across South Africa each year.
The theme for hospice week this year is #BecauseIMatter. During the week HPCA will be sharing videos of the impact palliative care has made in the lives of people and at the same time shedding light on what “palliative care” is all about. HPCA have also compiled a couple of videos regarding the look and feel of hospices in South Africa through video tours.
Engage on the HPCA Facebook page, Twitter page & Instagram page this week and gain some valuable knowledge around what hospice & palliative care is all about!
