Can I inspect the Artwork before the auction?
All artworks are only available online for viewing.

Is there a reserve price on all lots?

Most lots are auctioned with a reserve price in place. Should the highest bid at the auction not meet the reserve price then the seller has the option to reject or accept the final bid (hammer) price. 

Are telephone or anonymous bids allowed?

Telephone or email bids will be allowed for those who do not have Facebook. You can either phone Natalie on 021 437 0334 or email on rsvp@jhpr.co.za. Your bid will then be placed anonymously online.

Do time delays apply to this auction?

A window period of 12 hours will be allowed after the auction site closes to allow for time differences.

How does payment work?

Payment will need to be made in full, by 20 November 2017 or the item will be offered to the next highest bidder.

How do I get my purchase once I have made payment?
Items can be collected from the following points:

          HPCA’s office, DBM Gardens Building, Golf Park, Mowbray, Cape Town, 7700.

          High Street Auctions, 160 Jan Smuts Avenue, Rosebank, Johannesburg, 2196.

Should you need a courier, this can also be arranged on your behalf.

Are items insured?

All items are not insured and is the responsibility of the bidder.
