The Vision 2030 Awards which took place at the Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg yesterday, was a first of its kind in South Africa.

The awards are unique and recognise the achievements and success stories of organisations, enterprises and individuals that are actively demonstrating alignment to the government’s Nine-Point Plan to boost economic growth and achieve the milestones set by the National Development Plan (NDP).

The Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa (HPCA) was nominated as a finalist in the health category among 7 nominees and was awarded as the runners- up. Chairperson of the BOARD, Bulelani Kuwane received this award on behalf of HPCA.
