Neuro-myelitis rendered “Portia” emaciated, bedridden and very weak with hands that were constantly shaking. Working closely with @HospiceWits and after gaining an understanding of what palliative care is, “Portia” received homebased social, psychological, and spiritual support. Today, “Portia” is living a productive and meaningful life.
