Type of volunteers needed:

• Reception
  • 2 or 3 people to assist with a few hours in the morning or afternoon when we need a back-up would be so helpful.

• Activities
  • Bakers to call on for cake sales/market days every 3 months.

• Shop Volunteers
  • Daily for the book section (we have a pool of 6, another 4 would enable us to have a few every morning).
  • Assist our shop employee on Saturday mornings for 5 hours – we need another 4 to ease the load and work once every 8 to 10 Saturdays.

• Fundraising
  • Event assistants (we need at least another 4 or 5 to call on).
  • Scholars for community service are valuable on Saturdays in the shop and for events.

• IT/Computer knowledge and skills
  • Someone to advise on troubleshooting issues around connectivity etc.

• DIY
  • Handyman – we have 1 who holds a full-time job as well, so another 1 or 2 fit/active, retired gentlemen to be able to call on for general maintenance guidance, drilling, shelving, fixing etc, would be so helpful.
