What are the achievements that you are most proud of?

This year we celebrate 21 years of serving our patients and their families.

What are the obstacles that you may have had to overcome to achieve these?

We faced financial challenges as global funding became increasingly difficult. Staff salary cuts occurred twice in the past, yet we managed to keep our doors open during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.

What would you still like to achieve?

• Owning our own building in Vredenburg to house the office and hospice shop is a key aspiration.
• Achieving 5-star accreditation as a hospice remains an important goal for our continued growth and excellence.
