Sungardens Hospice, in collaboration with the University of Pretoria (Dept of Family Medicine), will be hosting the first Palliative Care Symposium on 1 October.
The one-day symposium aims to cover various topics related to palliative patient care such as “Breaking bad news”, the ethical question on euthanasia, perspectives from Dieticians and Social workers in dealing with terminal and end of life patients and paediatric palliative care.
