Type of volunteers needed:

• Activities
  • Making handmade cards.
  • Simple stress relief activities.
  • Create a memory wall or display with photos of the volunteers and caregivers.
  • Making small care packages for caregivers – homemade treats or snacks, water bottles or mugs, cold/warm compresses.
  • Making care packs for patients – soft socks, blankets, or small plush toys, soap, toothpaste, small towels.

• Marketing
  • Social media posts –post messages of appreciation on social media.
  • Creating short videos celebrating the work of our volunteers, or highlighting individual stories of caregivers in action.

• Fundraising
  • Event assistants (we need at least another 4 or 5 to call on).
  • Scholars for community service are valuable on Saturdays in the shop and for events.
  • Donation drives for goods to use in the activities.
