About

Big-name and butterfly artists all over South Africa have been working hard for Art with Heartfor Hospice

YOU ARE INVITED TO JOIN THE 30TH CELEBRATIONS OF HOSPICE IN SA

Art with Heart…for Hospice honours 30 years of HPCA (Hospice Palliative Care Association) supporting hospices with the theme ‘The Pearls of Palliative Care’, and raise much-needed funds. This virtual event, an online auction and exhibition, will launch on 14 October 2017, World Hospice Palliative Care Day. It is on this day that the world speaks out in support of Hospice. You can too!

Artwork has been generously donated by artists from all corners of South Africa ranging from big-name internationally-known artists such as Dylan Lewis, Janko de Beer, Eugenia Chapman-Campbell and Catherine Timotei. Support has also been received from prestige hotels and Villas around South Africa where they have packaged wonderful art and culinary experiences.

The butterfly is the symbol of palliative care and some artists have included it in their artworks. Many artists have also been touched by Hospice and are donating artworks in memory of a loved one. The online auction and exhibition will be on a dedicated Facebook page, Art with Heart for Hospice and will be live for viewings from 2 October. Bids can only be placed from 14 October and the auction will run for four weeks.
