Guests making online bookings to stay at hotels in the City Lodge Hotel Group have made a R126,000 “contribution” to the valuable work done by the Hospice Palliative Care Association of South Africa.
By choosing HOSPICE as the beneficiary when making their online bookings between July 1, 2013 and June 30, 2014, this prompted the hotel group to allocate a donation on their behalf. Over the period of a year, the accumulated donation allocations added up to the sizable amount of R126,000.
HOSPICE will be utilising the funds to assist its network of support centres and activities in various parts of the country including the Northern Cape, the Eastern Cape and Mpumalanga.
This annual donation made by the City Lodge Hotel Group is part of its ongoing corporate social investment programme, which benefits various communities and organisations around the country.
