“The APCC equips the Management and Staff with skills and knowledge used in our daily functioning at the hospice. This reminds us to treat each client as an individual, and that carers should not judge patients’ own decisions.

Training is ongoing and aimed at targeting the rights of clients to die with dignity.

The APCC constantly sends updated information on all details, provides ongoing staff training, and has enabled us to move to a 3-star rating.

This helps us improve care for palliative clients according to their rights as individuals.”
