How has mentoring from the APCC helped you and your team in your day-to-day work?
“The mentoring has helped us as Leratong Hospice in many ways, in particular the much-needed knowledge to have policies and procedures in place to guide the service rendered to the community. This is one of the systems that we have in place to assist us in improving the quality of the our service on an ongoing basis, to address risk management issues and ensure that the hospice is accountable to its beneficiaries, donors/funders and all relevant stakeholders.
We are able to understand our responsibility as a hospice through the guidance of the APCC and the mentorship provided and being capacitated with the knowledge to understand the standard in which we operate within.”
